About Homebeat

Homebeat started with a phone call most of us know: a parent saying "I'm fine, love" in a voice that didn't sound fine.

Our parents don't like to worry us, so they play things down. We can't be there every day to see for ourselves. And waiting until the next appointment to find out how they're really doing is a long, anxious wait.

So we made Homebeat: a fingertip oxygen and pulse check so simple that anyone can use it on their own and read the numbers out over the phone. It gives the worry somewhere to go, and gives the people we love a simple way to look after themselves, on their own terms.
